Tashfeen Ahmad, M.B.B.S., Ph.D.
Dr. Tashfeen Ahmad is an orthopedic surgeon working at Aga Khan University, a private medical university in the city of Karachi, Pakistan. He has a Ph.D. in orthopedic basic science from Karolinska Institute, Sweden and is a 2014 FAIMER Institute Fellow. He is involved in medical education at undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate levels. His educational research interest is in teaching and learning, especially technical skills training. He has done research on role modelling, emotional intelligence, feedback, and use of apps for learning during work. Dr. Ahmad is currently developing a simulation based course on team building and communication in surgical setting. Apart from educational research he is active in clinical outcomes research, registries, stem cell research, and orthopedic basic research.
