Independent Entity

Official decisions of the Grenada Medical and Dental Council (GMDC) are reported to the Grenadian National Accreditation Board (GNAB), a division of the Ministry of Education. The GNAB does not accredit or otherwise regulate medical schools, but it is responsible for overseeing accreditation activities in Grenada and serves as a liaison between GMDC and the Ministries and the Cabinet of the Government of Grenada.

* This accrediting agency is currently recognized by the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) Programme for Recognition of Accreditation Agencies. This recognition by WFME does not imply that all medical schools operating in this country are currently accredited by the agency. Please refer to the accrediting agency directly for information regarding the accreditation status of specific medical schools.
