The FAIMER Competency-based Education (FACE) program is a professional development program in competency-based education for global health professions educators.
The pilot program was launched virtually in August 2021 from Philadelphia for participants from India where there is an immediate need for professional development in competency-based medical education due to the recent mandates by the accrediting bodies. The program is currently being offered to five faculty that teach in each of the four FAIMER Regional Institutes (FRIs) in India, with plans to expand to other regions in the future.
